Moisture-Resistant Gypsum Board (MR).
AZEX MR board is designed for dry-construction systems in humid interior spaces. Its gypsum core contains water-repellent additives to reduce water absorption compared with regular gypsum board, while the green facing makes it easy to identify on site and in storage.
Subject to the system design, MR can be used in partition walls, linings and suspended ceilings for humid spaces such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Optimized weight, clean cutting, suitable screw fixing and consistent faces and edges support handling, installation and joint finishing.

Performance also depends on the profiles, screws and fixings, joint treatment, waterproofing where needed and the correct installation detail.

MR is moisture resistant, not waterproof.
Where a surface is directly exposed to water spray, the complete system may need waterproofing, suitable coatings and the correct installation detail. Use a specialist system for continuous water exposure or very wet conditions.
